Projects

Lake Churchill is an 18-acre man-made lake in Germantown, Maryland. The Churchill Community Foundation, Inc. owns the lake and works to maintain it as an amenity for the community. The Board of Directors has many projects that they fund during the year. These include both major projects, like stream restorations, and minor projects, like tree installation, limbing up of the pathway trees, weekly trash removal and trash pick up, outfall maintenance, and mowing. Some of the large projects that the Foundation is working on or has completed are listed below.

Churchill Community Foundation (CCF) strives to make Lake Churchill a place where members of the community come to enjoy the beauty of nature at a special spot within walking distance of their homes. Lake Churchill is located in Germantown, Maryland.

The board meets the last Wednesday of each month.
